Returns & Refund Policy

At Nautafix, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely happy with your order, please review the policy below for information regarding returns, refunds, damaged goods, and non-returnable items.

1. Return Eligibility

You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging
  • Products must be in resaleable condition
  • Proof of purchase or order confirmation must be provided
  • Returned items must not show signs of use, contamination, installation, or application

Once approved, returned items must be sent back within 7 days of return authorisation.

2. Non-Returnable Items

Due to the specialist nature of marine detailing and ceramic coating products, the following items cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty:

  • Opened ceramic coatings
  • Opened chemicals or liquid products
  • Used polishing pads, applicators, towels, or accessories
  • Products contaminated after delivery
  • Custom or special-order items
  • Clearance or discounted items

This policy exists because many coating and chemical products are sensitive to contamination, curing, storage conditions, and shelf life once opened.

3. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, leaking, or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing: info@nautafixglobal.com

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the item and packaging

If a product is confirmed to be faulty or supplied incorrectly, Nautafix will offer, at our discretion:

  • a replacement,
  • store credit, or
  • a full refund.

We may request the item be returned before processing the claim.

4. Used Products & Application Results

Nautafix cannot accept responsibility for:

  • incorrect application,
  • improper surface preparation,
  • incompatibility with other products,
  • environmental conditions during use,
  • or results caused by misuse.

Customers are responsible for following all manufacturer instructions and testing products on a small inconspicuous area before full application.

Due to the technical nature of ceramic coatings and detailing chemicals, performance results may vary depending on preparation methods, maintenance routines, and application conditions.

5. Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind after purchasing, eligible unopened items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

Customers are responsible for:

  • return shipping costs,
  • safe packaging of returned goods,
  • and ensuring the goods arrive in resaleable condition.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or supplied incorrectly.

We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as Nautafix cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.

6. Refund Processing

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval of your refund.

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

If the returned item does not meet the conditions of this policy, the refund may be refused or subject to a partial deduction.

7. Trade & Professional Use

Certain products sold by Nautafix are intended for professional or trade use only.

Professional-use coatings and specialist detailing chemicals may require:

  • specific storage conditions,
  • trained application,
  • and correct handling procedures.

Nautafix reserves the right to refuse returns where products have been improperly stored, handled, or used contrary to manufacturer guidance.

8. Shipping Issues

Nautafix is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • couriers,
  • customs processing,
  • weather conditions,
  • or incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer.

Any delivery shortages must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
